This website is built and maintained by Gary Noonan. I'm a retired scientist and moved to Sierra Vista in 2005 and became interested in the San Pedro River. Currently I'm writing a book tentatively titled "The Life of a River. Human and Environmental History of the San Pedro River Valley from the Gadsden Purchase to Statehood." The purpose of the website is to share some of the interesting information I've about the river, its valley, and adjacent areas.
